Philip Rivers Has The Longest Active QB Start Streak
Yesterday it was announced that the New York Giants were benching quarterback Eli Manning, which brings his unbelievable streak of consecutive starts to an end at 210 regular season games (222 including playoffs). The end of Manning’s streak means that former NC State quarterback Philip Rivers has the longest active streak, with 187 consecutive starts (196 including playoffs). Not only is Rivers’ streak the longest active streak, but it is the 4th longest in NFL history.
