Former Wolfpack DE, Bradley Chubb sits down with NFL World to talk about his first training camp and what he expects from himself and his team this coming season. Chubb was recently named a starter for the Broncos and talks about learning from a great like Von Miller.

Full video is above and bulleted highlights are below:

  • Everyone at this level was one of the best on their team in college. Making him better everyday playing at this level.
  • Trying to learn everything Von Miller that he will teach him. Trying to learn from everyone. Watching film then asking guys about what worked later. Taking what works and implementing it into his game.
  • Every tackle is quick at this level, so the ‘get-off’ is the most important. In college it can just be ok, but at this level you need an elite ‘get-off’ every time.
  • Lots of expectation being a first rounder. Has to work his tail off every day, learn from everyone and be the best he can be.
  • Doing all the rookie stuff. Carrying shoulder pads, just trying to earn his keep.
  • Had a week where it was all rookies. Good bonding time. Talked about wanting to be part of the winning tradition in Denver.
  • Last year was Von’s first losing season. Our obligation to go out there and give it all we got.
  • Personal goal is to go out and play his best every game. If it leads to rookie of the year, so be it.
