Former NC State Swiss Army Knife Jaylen Samuels scored his 2nd NFL touchdown on Sunday in the Steelers loss to the Chargers, and with James Conner being ruled out of this Sunday’s game versus the Raiders, Jay Sam is set to start his first career NFL game.
RB Jaylen Samuels said he will start Sunday’s game against the Raiders but that he and Stevan Ridley will split time. Samuels will get a package, then Ridley will go, per Samuels.

Samuels is being snatched up right and left by Yahoo Fantasy Football Managers across the world, not only because of the guaranteed increased workload, but because Yahoo lists him as both a running back and a tight end.
Jaylen Samuels about to be the biggest fantasy free agent pickup of the week….

I don’t want to throw anyone under the bus, but I’ll just say this on principle: Jaylen Samuels should not be TE eligible in fantasy.

Samuels will remain an RB/TE in our game.

For those complaining about Jaylen Samuels’ TE eligibility, stop. He’s been dual-eligible the entire season. Accept it. You’re only piping up due to increased relevancy. Removing TE would punish those who were aware. We’ve been down this road with Joe Webb, Marques Colston …

People have been trying to figure out what position Jaylen Samuels plays for years. Nothing has changed.
Kudos to all the people who were smart enough to stash him away, and get to start a running back at the tight end this week.
