VIDEO: Wyatt Walker Talks After #23 NC State’s 66-65 Loss to #3 UVA in OT

Big fella Wyatt Walker talked with the media after #23 NC State’s hard fought 66-65 loss to #3 UVA in overtime last night. He finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds (5 offensive) and 3 blocks. The video is ABOVE, and a bulleted breakdown is BELOW.

• That was a lot of fun. In this league, we welcome players like that. They are big, strong and skilled.
• We just stuck with the scouting report. No guy tried to do it one-on-one. Obviously we would have liked to come away with a win, but we never strayed away from the scouting report.
• We know they play slow. We play fast. When we press it wears them down, and helps us score in transition. That kept us in the game late.
• That’s a really good team, but maybe we gave them too much credit. We were trying to contain them at the beginning, instead of trying to speed them up like we normally do.
• Happy with the effort. We take one game at a time. The most important game is always the next game.
• After every game, win or lose, Coach Keatts says 15 minutes…then we have to move on.
• We’ll go back and watch the tape, and move on to Virginia Tech.
