Why of course this game would be blacked out for most. NC State hammered Wake Forest Saturday afternoon, with a final score of 80-62.
The freshman duo of Cam Hayes and Dereon Seabron were the easy standouts, with Hayes having 11 points and 5 assists and Seabron adding 14 points and 9 boards. With the inclusion of Shakeel Moore, Pack freshmen accounted for 10 of the team’s 11 steals.
The Pack capitalized on Wake Forest turnovers and had one of their best transition games of the season. Offensively, hitting on 60% of threes in the first half, State was able to keep momentum going in the second, leading handily for the duration.
The Wolfpack’s next game is a big one, on the road at #7 Virginia Wednesday.
