Week 2 of the 2024 NFL Preseason has come to a close. Here’s a recap of how all of the former NC State football players fared.
Cornerback Robert Kennedy had 7 tackles, 1 pass deflection, 1 QB Hit and 1 interception in the Chargers’ 26-19 win over the Cowboys.
Safety Tanner Ingle had 7 tackles in the Rams’ 17-15 loss to the Texans.
Linebacker Vi Jones had 5 tackles (1 TFL) in the Bucs’ 24-14 win over the Dolphins. He played a team high 63 snaps.
Linebacker Savion Jackson had 4 tackles (1 TFL) in the Chargers’ 26-19 win over the Cowboys.
Punter AJ Cole averaged 53.5 yards on 6 punts in the Raiders’ 24-24 tie with the 49ers.
Running Back Zonovan Knight had 10 carries for 27 yards and 1 reception for 8 yards in the Lions’ 24-17 win over the Steelers.
Quarterback Russell Wilson completed both his pass attempts for 26 yards in the Steelers’ 24-17 loss to the Lions.
Quarterback Jacoby Brissett was 2 for 4 for 19 yards in the Patriots’ 20-10 loss to the Commanders. He left the game early after suffering a shoulder injury on this hit.
Defensive Tackle Cory Durden had 2 tackles (1 TFL) and 1 QB Hhit in the Rams’ 17-15 loss to the Texans.
Linebacker Drake Thomas had 2 tackles in his first NFL action since suffering a knee injury after 7 regular season games last year.
Wide Receiver Kelvin Harmon had 1 reception for 14 yards in the Cowboys’ 26-19 loss to the Chargers.
Punter Trenton Gill averaged 61.5 yards per punt (2 punts) in Denver’s 38-12 win over Arizona. One of them was a 73-yarder.
Place Kicker Brayden Narveson made two of his three field goal attempts in the Titans’ 30-27 win over the Saints. His 1 miss was a 58-yard attempt.
Defensive Tackle T.Y. McGill had 1 tackle in the 49ers’ 24-24 tie with the Raiders.
Center Dylan McMahon started at Center in the Eagles’ 26-3 loss to the Vikings. He played the most snaps of anyone on the offense (63), and posted a PFF grade of 62.4.
Tackle Ikem Ekwonu and Guard Chandler Zavala both started in the Panthers’ 31-26 win over the Bills. They both played 12 snaps. Ekwonu posted a grade of 61.9 and Zavala’s grade was 71.6.
