Here’s a rundown of how the former NC State football players in the NFL did in Week 16.

Quarterback Russell Wilson (starter) was 22 of 33 for 217 yards and 2 touchdowns (1 interception) in the Steelers’ 17-34 loss to the Ravens. Russ has been integral to Pittsburgh’s success this season, but yesterday he had 2 hiccups that threw the game out of proportion. In the 2nd Quarter, Wilson rushed for 19 yards, with the endzone in sight, but he was clipped by a tackle that caused a fumble on the Baltimore 4-yard line, turning the ball over. The Ravens went down and scored off of the turnover. In the 4th Quarter, Wilson threw a pick-six, that was returned 37-yards for a touchdown. Wilson’s PFF grade was 63.1.

Linebacker Payton Wilson (starter) had 3 tackles in Pittsburgh’s 17-34 loss to the Ravens. His PFF grade was 73.0, which was the third highest grade on the Steelers’ defense. This was Wilson’s 4th start of the season. He played in 22 of 62 possible snaps.

Left Tackle Joe Thuney (starter) played every snap in the Chiefs’ 27-19 win over the Texans. His PFF grade was 68.3. Thuney has been starting at Left Guard all season (and his whole career), but was moved to Left Tackle the past two weeks, due to poor play at the position by two young players, and a hamstring injury to DJ Humphries who was signed recently (hadn’t played a snap all season recovering from an ACL injury).

Defensive Tackle Cory Durden is maximizing after being called up from the Giants’ Practice Squad 3 weeks ago. Yesterday, Durden had a career high 5 tackles in New York’s 7-34 loss to Atlanta. He played in 24 of 64 possible snaps. Despite his tackle total, his PFF grade was 38.8.

Defensive Tackle Kentavius Street had 2 tackles in the Falcons’ 34-7 win over the Giants. He played in 22 of 58 possible snaps, and his PFF grade was 72.4. Street has had positive PFF grades the past 3 weeks.

Linebacker Germaine Pratt (starter) had 5 tackles in the Bengals’ 24-6 win over the Browns. He played in 63 of 66 possible snaps, and his PFF grade was 51.2.

Defensive Tackle BJ Hill (starter) had 5 tackles in Cincinnati’s 24-6 win over Cleveland. He played in 49 of 66 possible snaps, and his PFF grade was 69.9.

Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers (starter) had 2 receptions for 41 yards in Las Vegas’ 19-14 win over Jacksonville.

Left Tackle (starter) Ikem Ekwonu played in every snap in the Panthers’ 36-30 win over the Cardinals. His PFF grade was 74.6.

Left Tackle Chandler Zavala played in 13 of 68 possible snaps, and his PFF grade was 77.3, which was the highest grade of his career.

Center Garrett Bradbury (starter) played every snap in the Vikings’ 27-24 win over the Seahawks. His PFF grade was 41.4, which was the lowest grade on the team, and his lowest grade of the season.

Linebacker Drake Thomas strictly played on Special Teams, playing 22 snaps. He didn’t record any stats.

Punter AJ Cole (starter) averaged 47.5 yards per punt in the Raiders’ 19-14 win over the Jags, with all 3 punts landing inside the 20.

Linebacker Vi Jones played 1 snap at Linebacker, and 26 snaps on Special Teams in the Bucs’ 24-26 loss to the Cowboys. He didn’t record any snaps.

Cornerback Nick McCloud didn’t play any snaps at Corner in the 49ers’ 17-29 loss to the Dolphins. He did play 18 Special Teams snaps.
