The legendary NC State Guard duo of Saniya Rivers and Aziaha James have signed their WNBA rookie contracts.

Rivers signed a 3-year contract with the Connecticut Sun worth $237,670.

2027 – $84,871
2028 (Club Option) – $96,445

James signed a 3-year contract with the Dallas Wings worth $227,657.

2026 – $73,905

2028 (Club Option) – $92,383

Both Rivers and James were drafted in the 1st Round of the 2025 WNBA Draft. The Sun drafted Rivers 8th overall, and the Wings drafted James 12th.

Rivers and James were two of the best to ever play at NC State.
