The 2024–25 athletic year has come to a close, and NC State finished 22nd in the final Directors’ Cup standings.

The Wolfpack has now finished in the Top 25 for five consecutive years, marking the longest streak in school history. For perspective, prior to this five-year run, NC State had only finished in the Top 25 once since the Directors’ Cup was established in 1994.

NC State has placed in the Top 25 every year since Boo Corrigan became the Athletic Director at NC State.

The ACC had six schools rank in the Top 25, which was the third-most among conferences. The Wolfpack ranked fifth among ACC programs.

The Directors’ Cup began during the 1993–94 season with the goal of measuring the overall success of collegiate athletic programs, rather than glorifying individual sports.
