The 2025 NBA Draft wrapped up last night, which means it’s a good time to take a look at all the former NC State players who have been selected in the NBA Draft.

A total of 68 former NC State basketball players have been drafted into the NBA. Five of them finished their collegiate careers at another school after transferring from NC State.

The last former Wolfpack basketball player to be drafted was Cody Martin, who was selected by the Charlotte Hornets in the second round of the 2019 NBA Draft with the 36th overall pick. Martin played his first two seasons at NC State before transferring to Nevada.

The last player to be drafted directly from NC State was Dennis Smith Jr., who was taken by the Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft with the 9th overall pick.

In total, 17 former Wolfpack players have been selected in the first round, and 15 have been drafted in the second round.
