New York Head Coach Brian Daboll has named former NC State All-ACC Quarterback Russell Wilson as the Giants starter.

Back in March, the future Hall of Famer signed a 1-year deal with the Giants worth $10.5 million, and it’s all the money guaranteed.

Wilson earned his 10th Pro Bowl nod, which is the most ever by a former NC State player. After missing the first six games, Wilson took over as the starting job for the Steelers. Here’s a look at his 2024 numbers with Pittsburgh.

Games started: 11
Passing: 336 attempts, 214 completions (63.7%) for 2,482 yards
Touchdowns/Interceptions: 16 TDs, 5 INTs
Passer Rating: 95.6
Rushing: 43 carries, 155 yards, 2 rushing TDs

When it comes to NC State Quarterbacks in the NFL, Wilson ranks behind Philip Rivers in nearly every statistical category, except for QB Rating. Wilson’s career QB Rating is 99.8, and Rivers’ is 95.2.

At NC State, Wilson was the ACC Rookie of the Year in 2008, while also earning 1st Team All-ACC honors. In 2010, Wilson earned 2nd Team All-ACC honors.

Here’s a look at where Wilson ranks in the NC State record books:
