As expected, NC State forward Colt Langdon has officially entered the Transfer Portal.

Langdon transferred to Raleigh this past offseason as a redshirt freshman after not seeing the court during his first collegiate season at Butler.

Coming out of Millbrook High School, Langdon was a consensus 3-star prospect and one of the top in-state players in his class.

According to ON3, he was ranked as the No. 145 overall player in the 2024 class, the No. 38 small forward, and the No. 10 player in North Carolina.

Langdon was originally part of the 2025 recruiting class but reclassified to 2024 to begin his college career a year early.

This season, he saw limited action, appearing in six games primarily in late-game situations when NC State had built large leads. He averaged three minutes per game and scored his first points as a member of the Wolfpack by knocking down two free throws in a 94–70 win over UAB Blazers men’s basketball on November 7.

All signs point to Langdon being granted a medical redshirt for the season, which would give him four full years of eligibility at his next destination.
