Trea Turner Wraps Up Historic Season in 2022 with 100+ RBI’s

Former NC State All-American Shortstop Trea Turner wrapped up another stellar regular season in the MLB yesterday with a bang, crossing the 100 RBI mark for the season off of a 3-run home run. It’s the first time in Turner’s career to post 100+ RBI’s.

This year, Turner became only the 3rd Shortstop in MLB history to hit 20+ HR, 190+ Hits, 100+ RBI’s, 100+ Runs, and 25+ steals in a single season.

The only other duo in MLB history to do all of those in the same season was Babe Ruth & Bob Meusel for the 1921 Yankees.
