Philip Rivers Moves Into 8th Place All-Time in Career Passing Yards, Passes John Elway
Former NC State All-American Quarterback Philip Rivers took another step up the ladder in the NFL record books yesterday, passing John Elway for 8th on the All-Time list for career passing yards.
After throwing for 250 yards today against the 49ers, Philip Rivers now has 51,504 career passing yards…

Three weeks ago, Rivers moved into 6th place all-time in career touchdown passes.
Rivers was 25 of 39 for 259 yards and 3 touchdowns (1 interception) in the Chargers 29-27 victory over the 49ers, helping them improve to 2-2.
