Holloway has been named the ACC Coach of the Year 10 times. After being named the Head Coach at NC State in 2011, the Men’s Team has won the ACC Championship 9 times (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024) and the Women’s Team has won it 2 times (2017 & 2019). Prior to his arrival, the last time the Men’s Team had won the title was in 1992, and the last time the Women’s Team had won the title was in 1980.

Holloway will have the honor 2 of his former Swimmers at the Olympics in Paris. Katharine Berkhoff will be swimming in the 100 Backstroke, and Ryan Held will be swimming in the 4×100 Freestyle Relay.
