NC State LB Kamal Bonner Re-Signs With Savage Wolves for 2025

Redshirt Freshman Linebacker Dacari Collins just announced that he has re-signed with Savage Wolves, NC State’s Football NIL Branch (as a part of 1Pack), which means he will be returning in 2025. He has 3 years of eligibility remaining.

Through the first 6 games, Bonner was the 2nd string WILL Linebacker, backing up Redshirt Senior Devon Betty, averaging 10 snaps per game.

When Redshirt Junior Caden Fordham’s season ended due to an injury in Week 6, Betty moved back to MIKE Linebacker, and Bonner moved into the starting role at WILL Linebacker.

Bonner has 50 tackles (6th on the team) and 7 tackles for loss (5th on the team). His PFF grade is 61.0.

NC State has now re-signed starting Linebackers Redshirt Junior Sean Brown and Redshirt Junior Caden Fordham, and Bonner, who was a starter for the last half of the season, which means that the Wolfpack have now likely locked up their starting Linebackers for 2025.

Bonner is the 16th player to re-sign with Savage Wolves.
