Honestly, with Cleveland re-signing, NC State has locked up every single key defensive player from this years team for 2025. They have re-signed every defensive starter with eligibility remaining except for Defensive End Travali Price and Linebacker Kamal Bonner.

This was Cleveland’s first year in a starting role, and he didn’t disappoint. He was the 3rd highest graded player on the Wolfpack defense according to PFF, with a grade of 75.5. Cleveland also had the 3rd best Run Defense grade (80.5).

Through the regular season, Cleveland has 34 tackles and 4 tackles for loss.

In the 3-3-5 defensive scheme, the Nose Tackle position might not rack up juicy stats, but it’s the position that makes the wheel turn.

NC State wasn’t panicked when Nose Tackle CJ Clark transferred to Miami last season, because Cleveland was in the wing. He graded out better than Clark, even though he only started one game.

Cleveland is the 12th player to re-sign with Savage Wolves.
