South Carolina Pitcher Ryder Garino is Transferring to NC State

Rising Sophomore South Carolina Pitcher Ryder Garino is transferring to NC State.

Garino just wrapped up his Freshman season with the Gamecocks. In 16 appearances, he had a 2-0 record with a 5.84 ERA, striking out 34 batters in 24.2 innings. Garino also walked 13 batters in that span.

Coming out of high school, he was the #29 overall player and #15 right-handed pitcher in the state of New Jersey in 2024.

Garino is the NC State’s first transfer commitment since their 2025 season ended.
