Former NC State Wide Receiver TJ Graham has been named the Head Football Coach at St. David’s School in Raleigh.

Graham played for the Wolfpack from 2008 to 2011.

Coming out of Wakefield High School in Raleigh, Graham was an under-recruited prospect. ESPN rated him as a 3-star prospect, while Rivals rated him as a 2-star prospect, ranking him as the #30 overall player in the state of North Carolina in the 2008 recruiting class.

He chose NC State over offers from UNC, Duke, UVA, and Oregon.

When it was all said and done, Graham finished his career at NC State with 99 receptions for 1,453 yards and 12 touchdowns. Graham ranks 23rd in school history in career receptions, 24th in career receiving yards, and 16th in career touchdown receptions. His 7 touchdown receptions in 2011 are tied for the 10th most in a single season.

While Graham was a wide receiver, his claim to fame was his success as a kickoff return specialist. His 5,225 career all-purpose yards rank 2nd in school history, trailing legendary Wolfpack running back Ted Brown by 340 yards. Graham’s 3,153 career kickoff return yards sit at the top of the leaderboard.

In 2011, Graham earned 1st Team All-ACC honors as a return specialist.

He went on to be drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the 3rd round of the 2012 NFL Draft with the 69th overall pick. Graham played four years in the NFL, seeing action with the Bills, Jets, and Saints.
