Former NC State All-American Carlos Rodon pitched a scoreless 2nd inning for the American League in the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, allowing 1 hit and striking out 1.

This is Rodon’s 3rd time making the All-Star Team (2021, 2022 & 2025), but his first time taking the mound in the annual clash between the American and National League.

The Yankees standout entered the All-Star break with a 10-6 record, a 3.08 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and 135 strikeouts in 119.2 innings. He currently ranks 2nd in the American League in Wins (tie), 11th in ERA, 6th in WHIP, 4th in Strikeouts and 1st in Opponent Batting Average (.184).

The two-time All-American ranks second in NC State history in career MLB wins, fourth in ERA among starting pitchers, and first in strikeouts.
