As a sophomore this past season, Wiggins started 37 of the 43 games he played for the Hoosiers, most commonly as the leadoff batter. He hit .256, but his 38 walks boosted his on-base percentage to .414. He also swiped 7 bases.

As a freshman, Wiggins hit .309 in 36 games (14 starts), with an OPS of 1.011.

Coming out of high school, Wiggins was an All-American in both 2022 and 2023. Perfect Game ranked him as the No. 37 overall prospect nationally in the 2023 recruiting class, and the No. 2 overall prospect in the state of Indiana.

He has two years of eligibility remaining.

Wiggins is the 6th player to transfer to NC State this offseason, joining Tennessee Outfielder Dalton Bargo, JMU 3rd Baseman Wyatt Peifer, LSU Infielder Mikey Ryan, Duke Pitcher Collins Black and South Carolina Pitcher Ryder Garino.
