NC State OL Darion Rivers Enters the Transfer Portal

NC State Redshirt Sophomore Darion Rivers is entering the Transfer Portal.

After not seeing the field in 2023 and 2024, Rivers played a combined 25 snaps in two games this season.

ON3 rated Rivers as a 4-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, and ranked him as the #240 overall player nationally, the #17 Offensive Tackle and the #7 player in the state of North Carolina.

Rivers is the 14th NC State player to enter the Portal, joining Offensive Lineman Brock Stukes, Safety Zack Myers, Linebacker Kelvon McBride, Wide Receiver Noah Rogers, Wide Receiver Terrell Anderson, Safety Daemon Fagan, Wide Receiver Jimmar Boston, Linebacker Elijah Groves, Wide Receiver Christian Zachary, Running Back Hollywood Smothers, Defensive End Justin Terrell, Defensive End Josh Alexander-Felton and Offensive Lineman Val Erickson.
