NC State S Zack Myers Entering the Transfer Portal

NC State Redshirt Sophomore Safety Zack Myers will be entering the Transfer Portal.

Myers saw action in 11 games this season, compiling 4 tackles. He played strictly on Special Teams in 9 of the 11 games. Myers played 14 defensive snaps this season in 2 games combined.

In 2023, he played 53 snaps in 5 games (including the bowl game) as a True Freshman, redshirting the season. As a Redshirt Freshman, Myers played in 5 games primarily on Special Teams again. He played defensive snaps in 2 games combined.

Myers has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

Coming out of high school, Myers was a 4-star prospect in the Wolfpack’s 2023 recruiting class. 247Sports ranked him as the #19 athlete nationally, and the #12 overall player in the state of North Carolina.

Myers is the 12th NC State player to enter the Transfer Portal, joining Linebacker Kelvon McBride, Wide Receiver Noah Rogers, Wide Receiver Terrell Anderson, Safety Daemon Fagan, Wide Receiver Jimmar Boston, Linebacker Elijah Groves, Wide Receiver Christian Zachary, Running Back Hollywood Smothers, Defensive End Justin Terrell, Defensive End Josh Alexander-Felton and Offensive Lineman Val Erickson.
