Alcorn State Wide Receiver Tyran Warren is Transferring to NC State

Alcorn State Wide Receiver Tyran Warren (6’3”, 185) is transferring to NC State.

Warren arrives in Raleigh after three seasons at Alcorn State, bringing size, speed, and vertical-play ability to the Wolfpack receiving corps.

As a junior this past season, Warren posted 25 receptions for 476 yards and five touchdowns. In 2024, he caught 10 passes for 309 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore, averaging an eye-catching 30.9 yards per reception.

As a true freshman in 2023, Warren appeared in eight games, recording four receptions for 37 yards while developing into a rotational contributor.

Warren is timed at 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash and has one year of eligibility remaining.

Warren becomes the 9th transfer commitment for NC State this cycle, joining UNC Running Back Davion Gause, Montana St. Tight End Hunter Provience, Miami Wide Receiver Chance Robinson, Penn State Safety King Mack, Georgia Cornerback Ondre Evans, Arkansas State punter Jackson Waller, ECU offensive lineman Jimarion McCrimon and Buffalo wide receiver Victor Snow.
