NC State Offers 5-Star PG Davion Thompson

NC State has offered 5-Star 2027 Point Guard Davion Thompson (6’3″/175).

Thompson is the #17 overall player nationally in the 2027 recruiting class according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, the #3 Point Guard and the #1 player in the state of Missouri.

He also holds offers from Illinois, Iowa, Tennessee, Michigan, Wake Forest, Oregon, Indiana, Ohio St., Oklahoma and others.

Last season, Thompson played for Bolingbrook High School in Illinois, leading them to Class 4A sectional semifinals. Thompson was named the MaxPreps 2024-25 Illinois Player of the Year, averaging 24 points, 5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He was a sharp shooter last season, shooting 59.2% from the field, 49.3% from three and 86.4% from the charity stripe.
