Junior Dominic Fritton will start for NC State against Stetson tomorrow in Game 1 of the NCAA Baseball Tournament at 2 p.m. on ESPN+.

Fritton has served as the Wolfpack’s Game 1 weekend starter all year (except against Stanford in the final series).

Heading into the NCAA Tournament, Fritton is 5-4 with a 4.00 ERA, striking out 102 batters in 83.1 innings. He is the first Wolfpack pitcher to record 100+ strikeouts in a single season since Carlos Rodón struck out 117 batters in 2014.

He currently ranks 14th in the ACC in ERA, 4th in complete games, 3rd in innings pitched, 2nd in strikeouts, 18th in wins, and 4th in strikeout percentage (K%).

Fritton earned 3rd Team All-ACC honors this season.
