Texas Offensive Lineman Daniel Cruz is Transferring to NC State

Texas offensive lineman Daniel Cruz (6’3″, 313 pounds) is transferring to NC State.

After not seeing the field during his first season in 2024, Cruz saw action in three games this past season, playing offensive snaps in two of those contests. He logged a combined 14 snaps on the offensive line.

Cruz was a consensus four-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class, with Rivals ranking him as the No. 183 overall player nationally, the No. 11 interior offensive lineman, and the No. 29 player in the state of Texas.

He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Cruz becomes the 11th transfer commitment for NC State this cycle, joining EDGE Harvey Dyson, Alcorn St. Wide Receiver Tyran Warren, UNC Running Back Davion Gause, Montana St. Tight End Hunter Provience, Miami Wide Receiver Chance Robinson, Penn State Safety King MackGeorgia Cornerback Ondre EvansArkansas State punter Jackson WallerECU offensive lineman Jimarion McCrimon and Buffalo wide receiver Victor Snow.
