Despite re-signing with Savage Wolves to return to NC State in 2025 on December 6th, news broke tonight that Sophomore starting Cornerback will be entering the Transfer Portal. He has 2 years of eligibility remaining.

This is a major blow for the Wolfpack defense. Cisse was NC State’s highest graded Cornerback in 2024 according to PFF.

Cisse battled injuries this season, causing him to miss four games. Whenever Cisse was out, his absence was felt. With this news breaking, I wonder if his decision to transfer is the reason he didn’t play in the Military Bowl vs. ECU.

I’m aware that Senior Aydan White is a 2-time All-ACC Cornerback, but in Year 2, Cisse established himself as CB1 for the Wolfpack. Cisse’s PFF grade is 72.5, and White’s grade is 66.5.

In 9 games, Cisse has 28 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and 5 pass breakups.

The Wolfpack has re-signed Junior Devon Marshall, who was the 2nd highest graded Cornerback on the roster this year, who started in 5 games.

Cisse is 1 of 12 NC State players to enter the Transfer Portal this year.
