Appalachian State Wide Receiver Davion Dozier Transfers to NC State

Dozier appeared in nine games for the Mountaineers this season, finishing with 20 receptions for 448 yards and five touchdowns. He averaged 22.4 yards per reception.

This fall, Dozier earned a PFF grade of 62.6 during the 2025 season at Appalachian State.

Prior to arriving in Boone, Dozier spent his first two collegiate seasons at Arkansas, where he played 24 snaps across four games while redshirting his first season.

Coming out of high school, 247Sports rated Dozier as a four-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class and ranked him as the No. 17 overall player in the state of Alabama.

Dozier becomes the 14th transfer commitment for NC State this cycle, joining Penn State Linebacker DaKaari Nelson, UNC Cornerback Ty White, Texas Offensive Lineman Daniel Cruz, EDGE Harvey Dyson, Alcorn St. Wide Receiver Tyran Warren, UNC Running Back Davion Gause, Montana St. Tight End Hunter Provience, Miami Wide Receiver Chance Robinson, Penn State Safety King Mack, Georgia Cornerback Ondre Evans, Arkansas State Punter Jackson Waller, ECU Offensive Lineman Jimarion McCrimon and Buffalo Wide Receiver Victor Snow.
